Renaissance House, Inc., is a private nonprofit organization that has been providing residential services to people with developmental disabilities since 1980. Originally serving six disabled men in one facility in Tiffin, Ohio, Renaissance House now serves more than 80 men and women with a wide range of disabilities in Seneca, Hancock, Huron, Erie, and Sandusky counties. In most cases, services are provided to people in their own homes.
The organization’s mission is to enable people with developmental disabilities to have a home, enjoy relationships with family and community members, and occupy valued social roles. Renaissance House staff provide a variety of competency and image enhancing services addressing the need for relationships, acceptance, love, commitment, and emotional support in addition to essential health and safety.
The core of Renaissance House is the staff members who carry out the organization’s mission by effectively delivering services to our clients. Each of our staff members is committed to providing the best possible individualized services. Renaissance House values the hard work and dedication of all of our employees, whether they have been with us for 30 years or are just starting their new career.
